Carl Abrahamsson at the Museum of Porn In Art

Museum of Porn In Art exhibition

From Carl Abrahamsson, musician with White Stains and Cotton Ferox, news of an upcoming exhibition of his photos documenting the Folsom Street Fair of fetishism and sexual flamboyance in San Francisco. The exhibition is at the Museum of Porn In Art in Zurich, and is from 20th April to 17th May 2007. Click on the above flyer for a larger version.

I always loved Carl’s old occult journal, Fenris Wolf, which introduced me to Lionel Snell’s writing. And I like Carl’s slogan on his website: “In the end, nothing really matters. But until then, some things do.”

  1. How nice to know that old Carl is still alive and kicking. It was years since I last spoke to him. I think my last piece of communication with him was a letter I wrote him, revealing my intention to leave OTO (which I eventually did, for the second time…). I´ve always liked him even though his translation of Liber Al is without any traces of poetic feeling and therefore dry and quite bad. My best memory of him was when he saved me from a renegade anti-drugs OTO-brother while I was high on a combination of LSD and Amphetamine. Even though the guy acted like a rubber band, ever always coming back giving me the evil eye, Carl gently took him under his arm out of the room. Taken together, Carl and Lionel constitute a duo of genuine occult gentlemen with impressively open minds. It says a lot of OTO that both are still members of that bad rumoured Order.
