That's odd. I can only assume it's a copyright thing?

Some interesting video guys that have posted comments, thanks.

Article was pretty good, i was amazed more with the actual image, but yet again i am a graphic designer so this comes natrual.

Some funny stuff on Youtube relating to this, and some no so funny but interesting stuff too.

Came upon this blog by chance, so going to have a read of a few more articles before adding to my fav's

thanks

Thanks David, good video clip. I liked this guy too:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nZwJ0xld5eU

He wields the analogy like a sledgehammer. His heroin comparison is spot-on, reminds me of Burroughs' "junk is the ultimate merchandise" bit. Maybe credit is the ultimate junk, too.

Nice piece. I also had the urge to try and understand economics a while back, but also found it hard to go on with the reading. I understand more than most, but am new Wall Street Raider.

As someone who has owned a couple of commercial companies, I would definitely agree with where you are going with this. During that time, it was obvious how controlled by money some people are and how it changes their character. This is not somewhere I would like to return.

This is a pretty good snippet from Ron Paul, which is pretty good for getting some understanding of economics in action today:

Certainly this system props up the ruling elite, if you can just print off money, which causes inflation, this will have a dire effect on minimum wage folks while people with 6+ figure checks will probably just have to put those plans for a yacht on hold. Of course, this also gives great power to the bankers who have created the debt.

Not seen Addendum, as I wasn't terribly into Zeitgeist. But yeah, Jensen's quote nails it pretty well. To simplify again, I wonder if money was just a way of perpetuating a ruling elite, only making the system that props them up much more complex, and thus Hyrda-like and harder to resist.

choice. have you seen "zeitgeist: addendum" - it's a low budget alterna-doc (on youtube) about the global money system that helped me see how $ is little more than a mass delusion. Derrick Jensen has stated just as much: money being the delusion that lets us think that there are rich people and poor people, rather than "people who live on the best land" and use violence to keep off "other people."
