Why should I donate?

Well, I’m not saying you should. It’d be nice, though.

Dreamflesh is a labour of love, but has real financial costs. I keep myself in rent, bills and booze with web work, and any and all “profit” made through Dreamflesh is ploughed straight back in to pay for web hosting and print projects. The print stuff I publish is currently doing OK-ish, but circulation is low enough that the unit costs for print runs are relatively high. I try and gauge cover prices to break even, but it’s a touch-and-go business!

Of course Dreamflesh gives me exposure, which may result some day in me getting paid for my strange ideas, so it’s not true that I get nothing from it but satisfaction and fun. In the meantime, a few donations would certainly help grease this project’s financial wheels, and enable more future fun!
