BJM in Europe
It’s great to find a band on tour soon after discovering them.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre have just announced dates through July at festivals in Denmark, Ireland, Scotland and Oxfordshire, and in venues in Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Stockholm, Gothemberg, Manchester and Cardiff.
As of posting, tickets for Birmingham, London and Liverpool are available through TicketWeb, and I’ve nabbed one for London. The venue’s the Carling Academy in Islington. I remember it being a typically bland brand-new kind of place when I saw Stereolab there a while ago, but it’s relatively intimate. Should be fun.
