Review
After his study of apocalyptic dreaming, Michael Ortiz Hill turned to studying the African-American experience through dreams. This led him to Africa, and to a fated meeting with Augustine Kandemwa, a traditional healer in the Bantu tradition. Hill and Kandemwa recognized each other immediately as spiritual brothers, and what ensued was a tumultuous and unique series of mutual initiations. This book tells their intertwined stories in their own words, each author taking a chapter in turn. They address each other across the pages, and unravel their highly moving stories with brutal honesty and humility. Forget Casteneda, this is the real deal.
